A few months ago, I realized that it was time to start digging out. I was outpacing my wardrobe and noticed that my usual mobility was being interrupted by tight hips and knee pain. In one of my first blog entries, I recalled my first day back in the yoga saddle and the unbelievable creakiness that came with it. Zumba, my other form of dance, was suffering as well. Get Your Backend in Motion

A few weeks ago, I decided it was time to get back into yoga class. It’s been awhile since I had a regular practice, but, when I had one, everything about moving felt so liquid. I sashayed more than I walked because I could actually sway my hips. Breathing deeply was no problem since my chest and shoulder muscles were open and loose.
